Since winter was right around the corner, I decided to get a smaller room heater. Last year I had turned on the central heater and that really made the electric bill spike up. I figured I would get a small heater to just heat the room that I would be in. It would certainly save a lot on the electric bill. So I started doing some research on finding the right heater. I did not want to buy something very expensive but at the same time it has to be able to do the job. After a lot of searching, I finally found the Lasko 754200 Ceramic Heater with Adjustable Thermostat. Based on the many good reviews, I decided to buy it. Plus, the price was attractive.
When I received the ceramic heater from Amazon, I immediately plugged it in my bedroom. I put it in the corner so that it would not be obstructive. This little heater was really pumped out the heat. If you are sitting next to this heater, you will definitely feel warm. For a small room, I think it does a great job of heating it up. It’s good for bedrooms, offices, and the bathroom. I don’t think it would be great for heating a large living or family room though. You may have to buy a couple of these if you wanted to heat a large room. But if that were the case, you might as well just turn on the central heater. There are three settings, fan – low – high, on this heater and a thermostat. It’s pretty simple to use. The one thing about this Lasko ceramic heater that could be better is the noise. It’s not very silent but I make do. After awhile you won’t even notice it. Other than that, this is a great heater. It’s cheap and effective. Just be sure that the room you want to use it in is fairly small.
