I had been using the Hoover SteamVac carpet cleaner to steam clean the carpet in my home. For the most part, it did a pretty good job. However, over the years my carpet got old and dirtier. It was getting harder to clean the carpet using the Hoover. I decided that it was time to get a stronger carpet cleaner. After doing some research online, I came upon the Bissell Big Green Deep Cleaning Machine Professional Grade Carpet Cleaner 86T3. This vacuum had tons of positive reviews so I decided it would be the right vacuum for my house. The fact that it is a professional grade carpet cleaner I would expect that it would really get all the dirt out of the carpet.

When I got the Bissell, I took out the instructions and followed it to set up the machine. The instructions are very clear and I think anyone could easily figure it out. The machine was designed for ease in putting together. All the parts can be snapped on without using any tools. Once I got the machine set up, I immediately gave it a try on my carpet. I poured the cleaning solution that came with the machine and started vacuuming each room. I must say that this vacuum was wonderful in picking up dirt. I was able to get more dirt out of the carpet than with my Hoover vacuum. The Bissell was able to get old stains like food stains, wine stains, gas stains, and other stains in which I have no idea what it is. After doing a thorough cleaning on the carpet, I could not believe how clean it was. The carpet looks like it did the first day it was installed. I also used the wand to clean the furniture like the couch. It was able to get all the dirt out of the couch including stains. The machine did not harm the fabric of the couch even though the fabric was old. The wand is really good for getting the parts of your house that are inaccessible with the Bissell. It works well for getting into edges and nooks and crannies. Drying was also pretty fast. It took about two hours for the carpet to dry up completely. If I had hired professional cleaners it would take half a day for the carpet to dry. After I finished cleaning, I put all the parts of the Bissell in the bathroom for drying.

Although the Bissell is an expensive machine, it is definitely well worth the money. I figured that I only have to make this one payment and I get to clean my home for several years. I think that is a better investment than hiring professional cleaners every time you need a cleaning. Over the long run, you will certainly be saving money and your carpet would be much cleaner.

I have been eagerly waiting to get my hands on the Urban Decay Naked2 palette ever since December. I have used the first Naked palette before and I really liked it. With the new palette coming out, I figured it would be just as good with more colors to choose from.

When I received my palette the first thing that I noticed was that it came in tin container with a lip gloss on the cover. Inside the container, the layout is fairly similar to the first Naked palette where you will find 12 full sized eye shadows and a full length mirror on the back of the cover. The mirror is larger than in the old palette which is quite useful. I did not use the mirror in the old palette because I felt that it was too small. Now that the new mirror is much bigger, it is actually useful for putting eye shadow on. The brush itself has rounded blending brush on one end and a flat brush on the other end. The lip gloss is a mini sized one and has a mint feel when you put it on. Being that it is pretty small, you could easily carry it around with you in your purse. 3 of the eye shadows in the palette are mattes (foxy, tease, and blackout). The 12 eye shadows include:

Foxy – matte cream
Half-baked – metallic neutral gold
Bootycall – satin champagne
Chopper – metallic rose gold with silver micro glitters
Tease – matte mushroom taupe with purple undertones
Verve – pale metallic pink grey
Pistol – satin warm steel grey
Suspect – satin light taupe
Snakebite – satin deep bronze
Blackout – matte black
Busted – satin plumy dark brown
YDK – metallic toasty taupe with copper micro glitters

Naked 2 definitely has more light metallic shades than the original Naked palette. If you already have the original palette, then I do not think that you need to get the second one. Many of the shades are near duplicates from the original so it would not make sense to buy another palette. However, if you do not own the original one, then Naked 2 would be a great palette to have.

I have tried several of these lipsticks and I really liked them along with my favorite shade. Fairest Nude is a very light pink nude. Bronzine is a shimmery bronzed brown. Pure Burgundy is a red plum colored brown. It tends to lean on the bright side. Ginger Sprice is a more of warm brown. The lipsticks are all very smooth and creamy when you apply it. These lipsticks can last a long time after application and also adds a nice layer of protection against the sun. The colors for the most part make my lips look natural, soft, and smooth. I definitely think that it is well worth the price.

I bought a couple of these lipsticks and basically stocked up. Several lipsticks are not sold in stores anymore which so you may want to buy a couple of these lipsticks in case they are not sold on Amazon anymore.

I really like to drink wiskey and always have a shot after work every day. I do not like to drink my wiskey cold though because then it would lose its entire flavor. To get the most out of wiskey, you have to drink it slightly cooler than room temperature. I was talking to my friend the other day about this problem and he told me to get some whisky stones. He said that he bought these stones and they have been absolutely wonderful.

To use these whisky stones, you would put them in the freezer for about 4 hours. After they are frozen, you would put them in your glass of drink and it would slightly chill your spirit. You won’t have to use ice which would end up diluting your drink with water. The stones are flavorless and odorless so it won’t change the taste of your drink. The soapstones are also designed in such a way that they will not slide when you are tipping your glass. They also won’t scratch your glass as long as you use them with care. After you done using the stones, you only need to wash it and put it back in the freezer to use next time. I used these stones on half an inch of American whisky the whisky become much more flavorful. I was pretty surprised by how well these stones worked.

If you are planning on using the wisky stones to get your wiskey cold then this is not for you. However, if you just want to chill your wiskey just enough so that the flavors get enhanced, then you absolutely need to get these stones. I have been using these stones for a couple of days and I really love. I plan on buying some more for my friends as presents.

When I am in the shower, I typically like to shave as well. This saves me time because my facial pores are already open due to the hot shower water and all I would have to do is to shave the hair off. The only issue with shaving in the shower is that I would need a fogless shower mirror. I have tried many different brands of shower mirrors but none of them have been able to prevent fogging. I was talking to my friend one day about this problem and he recommended that I get the Deluxe LED Fogless Shower Mirror with Squeegee by ToiletTree Products.

This new fogless mirror is an enhanced version of their previous fogless shower mirror. Some of the new additions include 20% larger surface area, LED lighting around the edges of the mirror, and an improved squeegee for wiping away water droplets from the mirror. Before you use the mirror, you have to mount it on your bathroom shower wall. It uses an adhesive to secure the mirror bracket to the surface. You can then easily attach the mirror to the bracket or take it off whenever you want. In order to prevent fog from building up on the mirror, you have to pour some warm water into the reservoir at the back of the mirror. A simple way that I have devised for filling up the reservoir is to pour warm water from a cup into the reservoir while I am showering. By doing it this way, I do not have to empty the reservoir after I shower. I would just pour new water into the reservoir every time that I go to shower.

The ToiletTree fogless mirror works very well. The mirror never fogs up as long as you have warm water in the reservoir. I get a much better shaving experience now that I have this mirror. It even has a built-in shelf for you to put your razor, sponge, or tweezers. This is a great product and I don’t know how I would be able to shave in the shower without this.

You can use it to monitor your weight, blood pressure, glucose, and fat percentage. It is free to use but you can get an upgraded paid version that allows you to get more detailed information.

So far I really love the FitBit Ultra. It has helped me to get off my couch and become more physically active. It is really addictive to try and break your record each time. I was able to lose 10 pounds over two months and I feel better than ever. If you are wondering whether or not to get this device, I would highly recommend that you do.

There are several settings on the karaoke including voice control and echo effects. You can turn the mic volume up or down but if you turn the music down, the mic volume will also go down. There’s a vocal eliminator that will cut out the vocals from music tracks. Although not all the vocals are eliminated, it still works pretty well. At least we do not have to go out and buy karaoke music. The only issue that I have with this karaoke system is that it does not display the lyrics. But it’s not a huge problem because I could just print out the lyrics online.

For the price, I think this is a great karaoke system. The guests at my party loved singing using this karaoke system and everyone had a great time. Since there are two microphones, we got to sing duets which was pretty cool. I am glad that I bought this for the party.

Recently, my old vacuum cleaner finally died after 5 years of use. There were already problems with that old vacuum cleaner. This Shark Navigator is a very professional vacuum and it picked up dirt and dust like no other vacuum that I have ever seen. I would dare say that this is probably as good as Dyson but it is only a fraction of the cost. My carpet is at least 10 years old but once I went over it with the Shark, it was as if it was a new carpet. I did a little test to see how good this vacuum was. I took some dirt and dumped in on my carpet. I then borrowed my neighbors vacuum and vacuumed up the dirt. I then took that same dirt and dumped it back on the carpet and vacuumed it up with the Shark. Not only did the Shark pick up all the dirt, but it picked up more dirt than the other vacuum.

After a couple of weeks of using the vacuum, I am very satisfied with it. My house used to be pretty dusty and it seemed like no matter how many times I vacuum it would always stay. With the Shark after every use, the dust seems to be going away. There is no more dog hair on the carpets. It’s almost as if I don’t even own a dog. If you want a professional vacuum cleaner that is not expensive then you need to get the Shark Navigator.
